ISO 9001 Clause 9.2: what the standard asks for, and where Audit Manager fits
Clause 9.2 asks you to audit your own quality management system on a planned schedule, to find out whether it conforms and is working as intended. That means running an audit program, choosing auditors so that each audit is objective and impartial, reporting the results to the managers concerned, dealing promptly with what is found and its causes, and keeping evidence of the program and its results.
